Thermal purification processes
We plan, manufacture, and integrate highly efficient exhaust air purification systems for all processes that emit environmentally harmful pollutants and must safely and reliably comply with official limit values.
The focus is on an energy-efficient design. Our aim is to minimize auxiliary fuel demand and recover useful heat. Autothermal or electrically heated operation may be possible, depending on the application.
We develop the right treatment concept for your process. Discuss your requirements with us.

Thermal Oxidizer
Thermal oxidation is suitable for high-load exhaust air volume flows. The process is also used for heavily contaminated exhaust air or exhaust air flows with a high water or silicate content.
Catalytic oxidation
Catalytic oxidation is characterized by high flexibility regarding volume and load fluctuations and low energy consumption due to low reaction temperatures. Catalyst poisons can reduce catalyst activity. Suitability depends on the catalyst and the composition of the exhaust air.

Regenerative thermal oxidation
Low maintenance requirements, low energy consumption, and a long service life characterize regenerative thermal oxidation. Today, RTO is the most commonly used solution for thermal exhaust air treatment.
VOC concentrator
For exhaust air flows with low VOC loads, a concentrator is connected upstream of the subsequent thermal purification. This reduces the exhaust air flow to be treated while simultaneously increasing the concentration. When VOC loading and heating value are sufficient, the concentrated stream can be treated in a self-sustaining (autothermal) oxidation process in the downstream oxidizer.
